When God Feels Silent

Verse:

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14

Devotional Passage:

Silence can feel like distance. When prayers seem to fall into the air without an echo, the heart begins to wonder if God has turned His face away. But silence is not absence.

There are times when God does His strongest work not in the noise of answers, but in the stillness where faith learns to breathe.

Even when you can’t feel Him, He’s moving. He’s holding the pieces you can’t see. He’s speaking in whispers that don’t always sound like words. The quiet isn’t proof that He’s gone — it’s often the space where your trust grows roots.

🕊️ Reflection/Prayer:

Lord, when I can’t hear You, remind me that You are still here. Teach me to rest in Your quiet work, to trust what I cannot see, and to remember that silence can hold miracles. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏
