Monster Bites — Mini Brownie Bats

These little bat bites are soft, chocolatey brownies with candy eyes, chocolate wings, and just the right amount of spooky-cute. They’re bite-sized, easy to make, and perfect for kids or grown-up Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix (or your favorite homemade recipe)

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

20–24 chocolate wafer cookies (for wings)

1 cup chocolate frosting or ganache

Candy eyes (or mini white chocolate chips + black icing)

Optional: orange sprinkles or colored sugar

Instructions

Bake the brownies:

Bake brownies according to package or recipe instructions in a 9x13-inch pan. Let them cool completely, then cut into small squares (about 2 inches each).

Add the wings:

Break each chocolate wafer cookie cleanly in half. Press one half into each side of a brownie square to look like bat wings.

Frost & decorate:

Spread or pipe a little chocolate frosting on top. Press two candy eyes on each bite. Add sprinkles or colored sugar for extra magic.

Chill:

Refrigerate for about 10–15 minutes so the wings stay firm and the frosting sets.

Tips

Use mini Reese’s cups or Oreos instead of brownie squares if you want different textures.

You can make these a day ahead — just store them in a covered container in the fridge.

Want them extra cute? Give each bat a little smirk with a dab of white icing.
