Crispy Garlic Butter Parmesan Wings

This isn’t a dainty appetizer—it’s the kind that makes people hover around the tray. Golden, crunchy chicken wings tossed in a buttery garlic and Parmesan sauce with a hint of spice. No messy glaze. No complicated steps. Just addictive flavor.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings, split at the joints

1 tbsp baking powder (for crispiness)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

Garlic Butter Parmesan Sauce:

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp chopped parsley

Optional: pinch of chili flakes for heat

Instructions

Prep the wings:

Pat the wings very dry with paper towels. Toss in baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Bake or air fry:

Oven: Bake on a wire rack over a sheet pan at 425°F (220°C) for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Air fryer: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes, shaking halfway.

Make the sauce:

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden (about 1 minute). Stir in Parmesan and parsley.

Toss & serve:

When wings are done and crispy, toss them in the garlic butter sauce until coated. Add extra Parmesan on top for good measure.

Serving Tip

Serve hot with a side of ranch or blue cheese.

Add a squeeze of lemon over the top for a fresh pop.

These wings stay crispy even after saucing—perfect for parties.
