Cozy Cable Beanie Pattern (Adult size)

Materials Needed

Yarn: Worsted weight (category 4) — approx. 150 yards (137 m)

Instructions

Brim

CO 88 sts. Place marker and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.

Work K2, P2 ribbing for 2.5" (or desired brim length).

Body

Repeat the following 7-round pattern until the hat measures about 7.5" from cast on edge:

Rounds 1–6: K6, P2 around.

Round 7 (Cable Round): C6B, P2 around.

Repeat this cable pattern 6 times or adjust length for desired slouch.

Crown Decreases

Switch to DPNs when necessary.

Rnd 1: K2tog, K4, P2 around. (77 sts)

Rnd 2: Work pattern as established.

Rnd 3: K2tog, K3, P2 around.

Rnd 4: Work as established.
