When Hope Feels Far Away

Verse:

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” – Hebrews 10:23

Devotional Passage:

Hope doesn’t always shine bright. Sometimes it flickers like the smallest flame — fragile, trembling, barely there. In those moments, it can feel like hope is a distant shore, and you’re standing in the storm with no strength left to swim.

But the nearness of hope isn’t measured by how it feels; it’s anchored in Who holds it. God’s promises don’t depend on your strength to believe — they stand steady because He is faithful. Even when your hands are too weak to reach, He is already holding hope for you.

🕊️ Reflection/Prayer:

Lord, when hope feels far away, remind me that You are not. Steady my heart when I can’t see the shore. Help me trust that Your promises are closer than the storm around me. Be my anchor when I can’t hold on. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏
